adidas SPEZIAL is back for AW’16.
Curated by Gary Aspden and shot by Nick Knight, adidas Spezial is back for aw’16. A contemporary collection of modern sportswear which takes its inspiration from the rich adidas archive.
For aw’16 a blend of premium, technical fabrics combine to create the range of sweats, tees, jackets and trousers whilst we see some of the most iconic shoes of past years recreated, including the Indoor Super SPZL, GT Manchester SPZL and Harwood SPZL to name just a few.
First launched in 2014, SPEZIAL pays homage to the iconic garments that have shaped the Adidas brand over the years and gives them a contemporary update. This season’s collection takes inspiration from the Mod Trefoil – a logo that was used in the first season of SPEZIAL and has since been replicated on football banners by fans all over the world.
The collection will be available in store and online at The Hip Store from Thursday 6th October.

This boot comes in a black or cherry red. As always, the upper and sole are welt and spot sewn together, heat-sealed and finished with a dual-branded sock liner and the traditional Dr. Martens woven heel loop.
Launch 9th September.

Looking pretty good isn’t it?
