Last week HIP hosted an event at the start of Carnival weekend to celebrate the Leeds Caribbean & African Centre as ‘ORIGINALS’. The Centre is a proud figure of Leeds’ cultural architecture – a cornerstone of community in Chapeltown since 1983 and a shining light of art, music and education. The event featured live DJ sets by @originalbinghidan & @djchanny_ whilst food was provided by @walladolla_official.
