All Leeds Aren’t We? – adidas SPEZIAL Elland ‘Made For HIP’
adidas SPEZIAL and HIP celebrate the unique city of Leeds with the Elland SPZL – a vintage inspired silhouette from adidas with a rich colour palette referencing Leeds United’s famous Elland Road stadium. The Elland SPZL pays homage to the passionate SPEZIAL fan base in Yorkshire that HIP has been key in cultivating – the silhouette is signed off with ‘Made in France’ style branding on the tongue replaced with ‘Made for Hip’ and foil serial code inside the shoe as a nod to a key date in the club’s history.
For this release, HIP connected with the local everyday heroes that make up the city of Leeds through the shared vision of ALAW “All Leeds Aren’t We?” – a phrase sang proudly from the terraces of Elland Road and uttered every day on streets of Leeds. This saying has transcended the football community and become a slogan for inclusivity and pride in the city.

Nike ACG Fall ’20 Collection
This fall Nike introduce their latest collection of outdoors ready apparel and footwear as part of the iconic ACG line. Comprising of lightweight outerwear, sweatshirts, tees, trail ready footwear and functional accessories – each item in the collection builds upon the legacy of the ACG line to form a range of earthy and subtle tones infused with tech such as GORE-TEX INFINIUM and Nike Air cushioning. Standout footwear styles in the collection include the Air Moc 3.0 and the Air Deschutz which are both ideal for the current late Summer climates. The Moc 3.0 is a trail ready silhouette that can be worn outdoors or as a casual home shoe and was first introduced in 1994 – drawing heavy inspiration from the Air Footscape with its laceless, slip-on design. The Air Deschutz is an iconic ACG style designed for use in and out of the water and features handy velcro straps alongside an Air cushioned sole, the silhouette released originally in 1992 to compete in the sport sandal market which was very new in the US and arrives in more ’90s inspired tones for its return.
As always with Nike ACG, each collection is as functional as it is good looking – now merging the normal and expected offering of tees and crewneck sweaters is a line of all-terrain sneakers, boots and pants, perfect for hiking, climbing and biking. Whilst outdoors and tech wear continues to grow in popularity, the future for the ACG line is looking exceedingly bright.

Archive Sale At Belgrave Music Hall Leeds
This August 25th-27th HIP will be taking over Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds for a very special archive sale sharing access to unseen and archived past season goods at discounts of up to 80% off. Expect to see all your favourite labels with products across all categories ranging from outerwear, sweatshirts, tees, footwear and accessories.
Tickets are available on DICE below for £1 each and all ticket sale proceeds will be donated to Saint Georges Crypt in Leeds, which is a local-charity that works and supports the homeless, the vulnerable and those suffering from addiction in the city. This a ticketed only event with allocated 45 minute slots, no tickets will be available on the day. Please be aware social distancing measures will be in place and all entering must wear a mask as in line with government guidelines.
