Saucony x Raised By Wolves AYA “Asphalt Jungle”

Athletic footwear specialists Saucony have joined with Canadian streetwear label Raised By Wolves for a new take on the AYA silhouette – originally a retro running shoe well known for its customisable fit and multiple lacing options.

The “Asphalt Jungle” AYA is outfitted in a steel grey upper with mesh, suede and leather overlays and accented with pops of red and orange on the tongue and sock-liner. Additional finer details include the special partially hidden stash pocket under the tongue, which draws heavily from ’90s skateboarding shoes which first incorporated intentional hidden stash pockets into footwear.

Multiple layered eyestays and toggle rope lacing system allow for a comfortable and adjustable fit, whilst branding is enhanced with a reflective Raised By Wolves hit on the heel. AYA which translates to “fly swiftly” is embroidered on the tongue whilst the classic Saucony mid-foot stripe features alongside the paint-speckled midsole.

The Saucony x Raised By Wolves AYA “Asphalt Jungle” will be launching at The Hip Store on 25/01/20 online at 08:00am.
