For the SS20 season we are excited to now be carrying Japanese inner down brand TAION as the UK exclusive stockist. TAION, which means body temperature in Japanese, focus on creating inner down wear from high quality materials designed with specifications that aim to be lighter, warmer and as easy to wear as possible in any cold environment. TAION products all include a fill of 90% mature waterfowl feather down and 10% 650 fill feather working in conjunction with the 100% water-repellent, high-density nylon outer.
Arriving in a wide variety of colourways and in both long sleeve and vest iterations, TAION also keeps travelling and functionality in mind with optimum packability for unexpected weather conditions. Each liner is a key versatile layer for the transitional months and easy to insert under a shell, over a cardigan, or simply over a long sleeve t-shirt.

Awake NY x Carhartt WIP
Following on from recent collaborative releases with Kappa and Timberland, Awake NY enter 2020 at a trailblazing speed working with Carhartt WIP on a capsule collection that focuses on classic workwear items in a new light.
Staple pieces from Carhartt WIP such as the Michigan Coat, American Script Sweatshirt, Pocket Tee and Watch Beanie have been re-worked by Awake NY in a new two toned colour scheme with co-branding throughout. The three unique colourway options in the collection include the classic Hamilton brown with blue, black with purple and bright blue with orange.

Clarks Originals x NEIGHBORHOOD Desert Trek And Wallabee Low
This January, Clarks Originals and cult Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD present the latest footwear collection in their long-running partnership which spans over a decade of collaborations.
Choosing to focus on the Wallabee Low and Desert Trek, a geometric print is seen across both styles and finished off in NEIGHBORHOOD’s signature monochromatic tones. Keeping typical Janurary weather in mind, winter ready technical updates are included with Vibram soles on both styles and the addition of GORE-TEX uppers on the Wallabee Low.
The Clarks Originals x NEIGHBORHOOD Desert Trek And Wallabee Low will be launching at The Hip Store on 18/01/20 online at 08:00am and in Leeds and Nottingham from 09:00am and 9:30am.
A.P.C. x Carhartt WIP Interaction #5
This Winter Parisian tastemakers A.P.C. have joined with workwear veterans Carhartt WIP for Interaction #5 of A.P.C’s ongoing interaction series. Fusing the DNA of both brands, Interaction #5 is able to harmonize the core of both label’s branding and suitability’s across a wide range of key silhouettes and accessories.
Throughout the collection, classic streetwear styles such as hoodies and beanies from Carhartt are updated using A.P.C’s premium fabrics and refined fits. Staple pieces from A.P.C. such as the denim jacket and tote bag both include the now iconic co-branded logo which playfully replaces the C in A.P.C. with the classic Carhartt ‘C’ logo.
