adidas Spezial AW19

Following on from the frenzied launch of the Liam Gallagher Padiham, Gary Aspden’s adidas Originals Spezial line is back with a new quartet of footwear and apparel for the AW19 season. Featuring a wide variety of silhouettes taking reference from the adidas Originals archives, the first drop of the season features the SL80 SPZL, Winterhill Adi-Tex SPZL, Hoddlesden SPZL alongside the general release edition of the Blackburn SPZL.

Inspired by winter on the terraces of British football grounds and consisting of utilitarian and hard-wearing product designed to combat the elements, the latest SPEZIAL release blends adidas’ rich heritage in sportswear with modern technology, tooling and fabrics.

To celebrate the launch of the collection, Gary Aspden will be hosting a Spezial Collection Exhibition at Blackburn Cotton Exchange. Featuring 1500 rare past releases, the event will also include the release of the limited to 200 pairs Blackburn SPZL ‘Nightsafe’ – with all proceeds going towards the Nightsafe charity which supports young homeless people in Blackburn.

adidas Originals Human Race x Human Made AW19 Collection

adidas Originals by Pharrell Williams’ Human Race and Nigo’s Human Made join forces to create a new collection for AW19 – Built upon Pharrell and Nigo’s longtime friendship and mutual admiration for one another. The collection includes the Tennis Hu, Solar Hu and Hu NMD models, each featuring embroidered details that pay homage to Nigo’s cult heritage streetwear label Human Made. Key technology is incorporated within each design with primeknit upppers, TPU heel stabalizers and Boost midsoles all featured.

YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 ‘Hospital Blue’

On 28/09/19 adidas + KANYE WEST launch the all new ‘Hospital Blue’ colourway through the latest YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 silhouette. The ‘Hospital Blue’ colourway features a mesh upper base accented by light tonal slate and grey suede overlays with reflective details throughout. Rounding off the design is a BOOST-assisted midsole for comfort and stability.

The adidas + KANYE WEST YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 ‘Hospital Blue’ is launching at The Hip Store on 28/09/19 online at 07:00am and in Leeds from 08:00am.

Stepney Workers Club x Brain Dead AW19 Collection

Following on from their recent collaboration with A.P.C, creative collective Brain Dead have joined with London based footwear label Stepney Workers Club to create a new version of their Dellow silhouette.

Constructed with a black textured wool bouclé upper and a contrasting oversized cream sole unit, stand-out features of the shoe include co-branded asymmetric tongue labels, footbed and heel patches, finished off with hiking influenced two-tone eyelets and laces.
