Adsum AW19 Collection

This AW19 season Brooklyn based Adsum present their new collection for the harsher months ahead.
Peter Macnee’s New York brand was founded in 2015 and built on traditional men’s staples blended with technical outerwear and sportswear. Speaking on his labels new collection, Macnee noted that “someone working in horticulture will wear double-layer knee cotton pants for comfort and utility, but on a cold morning, a performance insulation layer is what most people are going to reach for.”
This ethos has resulted in garments such as the Utility Pant and Work Jacket being made from a durable, heavy, dry herringbone twill — staying true to the workwear theme. Another standout piece in the collection is the Expedition fleece which is made from heavyweight, Japanese-milled Taslan with a reversed pile for the interior.
The first delivery of Adsum AW19 is online now.

Nike ACG AW19 Collection

Preparing for the colder months ahead, Nike presents its ever popular ACG Collection for AW19.
Nike ACG first began in 1989 with an all-terrain version of the Pegasus, following into 1989 with ACG apparel – blurring the lines between hiking, rock climbing and general outdoors gear infused with bright 80s and 90s-centric colour palettes.
The seasonal preview provides an emphasis on “the almighty pocket,” as described by Nike. Spotlighted pieces in the collection include zippered-collared shirts, biker shorts, and vests are constructed with pockets in varying sizes and placements, while shades of red, blue and black form a rich palette.
The first drop of the Nike ACG AW19 Collection is coming soon to The Hip Store.

New For AW19 – Stone Island

Stone Island was founded in the northern Italian town of Ravarino in 1982 by Massimo Osti – an advertising agency art director turned fashion designer from Bologna who had previously started sister brand C.P Company in 1975.
Osti began to set the foundations for the legacy which the brand has continued to build, incorporating groundbreaking technologies and functional designs season after season.
Drawing inspiration from military utility and workwear, Stone Island carefully combines these elements with forward thinking garment dye and fabric methods to create unmistakable collections.
Recent collaboration partnerships with the likes of Nike and Supreme have displayed the versatility of the brand and helped grow the once cult label into a worldwide favourite.
Stone Island – new for AW19. Available in-store only in Leeds.
