adidas SPEZIAL SS19 Drop 2

Following on from the first drop earlier in the year, this June see’s the second iteration of Gary Aspdens SS19 SPEZIAL range.

Taking cues from London’s deep heritage within adidas collector culture, the collection uses Robert “Brooksy” Brooks personal adidas collection and his life in the capital as a key source of inspiration. Accompanying Spring appropriate apparel in the drop are standout footwear styles such as the Earlham, a new update on the adidas Gaea 950, and the collection’s centrepiece, the SILVERBIRCH SPZL sneaker which takes influence from the adidas Denver and references the area in London where Brooks grew up.

The Aya will be released in a bold white/purple/orange colour way finished off with a white speckled sole and bungee lacing system.

Each pair of Saucony Aya’s come with a complimentary gift which includes commemorative matching socks and an issue of Running Strong magazine from 1994 which feature the Aya’s.
