New For SS19 – Parra
For the SS19 season we are excited to introduce Parra into our brand selection. Created by Dutch designer and artist Peter Jensen, who is more commonly known as Parra (short for paranoid) after being given the nickname by Gee Schmidt of Patta.
The Hip Store has a long history and heritage with Jansen that stems back nearly two decades, being introduced to Parra’s artwork through his Amsterdam rave party posters and flyers in the late 90’s. The Hip Store also stocked his first collections named Rockwell in 2002. It was in 2006 when Jensen introduced his now famous Beaked Creatures in his collections that the Dutch designers popularity rocketed.
Parra’s unique style and collaborations with streetwear protagonists such as Patta , Stussy, Supreme and Nike along with record sleeve covers for label Stones Throw and legendary producer J Dillah have made Parra a household name in sneaker stores as well as art galleries around the world.
Our first Parra delivery for SS19 includes t-shirts, hats and socks all featuring Jensen’s iconic graphic styling.

Norse Projects x Gore-Tex for SS19
To coincide with the recent launch of their SS19 collection, Norse Projects present their latest GORE-TEX outerwear which features the Fyn Shell. Constructed using a GORE-TEX membrane bonded to a lightweight outer fabric and finished with a DWR coating, the Fyn Shell provides full windproof, waterproof and breathable functionalities.

Barbour x Engineered Garments SS19
Following on from their inaugural partnership in AW18, Barbour and Engineered Garments have joined once again to create a new collection for SS19. Building on from last seasons collection, Daiki Suzuki has been able once again to skilfully merge Barbour’s iconic craftsmanship with Engineered Garments unmistakable military inspired features and practical designs. With over 125 years of outwear crafting experience between the two brands, this partnership is always going to deliver something special.

This Spring adidas present the new Ultraboost 19, delivering unrivalled comfort and energy incorporated with the Ultraboost technology the world has come to love since its first introduction in January 2015. To create the Ultraboost 19 adidas connected their product development team with thousands of runners worldwide to work and create the ultimate shoe for the modern runner. Simplifying seventeen pieces to just four performance driven components to create a lighter, reboosted silhouette with more responsiveness for an improved running experience.
