Carhartt WIP x Trojan Records
This AW18, modern workwear brand Carhartt WIP and Trojan Records have worked together to deliver a seven piece capsule collection to celebrate the UK record label’s 50th anniversary.
Originally founded in 1968, Trojan Records is a British record label specialising in ska, rocksteady, reggae and dub music. The name Trojan originates from the Trojan Truck that was used as record producer Duke Reid’s sound system in Jamaica.
Apparel in the collection consists of two short sleeve t-shirts and two long sleeve t-shirts, all featuring archive graphics from the Trojan vaults. The collection is rounded off with a trio of accessories that include a seven inch record bag, a sound system shaped incense chamber and a Kuumba produced pack of custom fragrance incense sticks.

adidas Originals ‘Never Made’
adidas Originals present it’s ‘Never Made’ hybrid footwear collection. The concept of the pack is the coming together of adidas past and present models and technology to create new distinct silhouettes. adidas Originals showcased the collection last weekend in New York during Hypebeast’s new festival HYPEFEST allowing attendees to create and experiment their own Never Made styles.
The collection comprises of various new models created during an internal adidas workshop to adventure into and create new unexpected ‘Never Made’ before combinations. Referencing three iconic decades of adidas archives – the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s to explore the past and the future by re-imagining iconic silhouettes combined with the brand’s most innovative technologies.
The Marathon is one of the earliest running silhouettes released by adidas, combining a mesh upper with suede overlays to create a classic 70’s runner design. The MARATHONx5923 incorporates the Marathon upper with a BOOST sole to create a modern take on a archive classic.
The Boston is a 80’s classic multi-purpose runner originally designed for the Boston marathon. The new updated BOSTONSUPERxR1 features updated sole with the inclusion of the iconic NMD BOOST technology.
The Rising Star is also a 80’s classic running model. The RISINGSTARxR1 combines the retro silver leather upper and red 3-stripe branding of the original Rising Star with a NMD BOOST sole to replace the original shoe’s rubber sole and coloured EVA inserts.

Karhu ‘Forest Treats’
Karhu return with a brand-new drop inspired by Finnish woodlands, labelled the ‘Forest Treats’ pack. This latest release includes the Synchron Classic and Aria silhouettes that take on new colours that are normally associated with flowers, wild berries and mushrooms. To honour the tradition of gathering your own healthy forest foods, Karhu shares this curated collection of ‘Forest Treats’. The Synchron Classic features a buckthorn brown suede upper whilst the Aria receives neutral grey suede panels with a vibrant red M-logo colour pop. The speckled EVA midsole, water-repellent nylon, metal D-ring eyelet construction and rope laces compliment the connection to the outdoors.

adidas Originals x Dragon Ball Z
adidas Originals and Dragon Ball Z collaborate with a sequence of seven silhouettes that tell the story of three of the most iconic battles from the legendary Japanese anime series. The silhouettes have been carefully chosen to represent the characteristics of the heroes and villains to which they refer. There is no stopping until all seven Dragon Balls have been collected; each design carries a Dragon Ball on the trainer as well as the presentation shoe box.
