Puma x Santa Cruz

One of the highlights of the Puma Suede’s 50th anniversary proceedings has to be the latest collaborative endeavour with Californian brand Santa Cruz Skateboards. Founded in 1973 by surfers Rich Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman Santa Cruz is well-known for product innovation, loud graphics and a celebrated skate team. Santa Cruz is a skateboarding titan.

Santa Cruz’s ‘Screaming Hand’ logo gives the Puma Suede a whole new disposition with original artwork by Jim Phillips, inspired by the way we use our hands to express ourselves through words, art and music. Additional features include a premium suede upper, a red leather lining, a red Puma formstrip that signifies ‘red sound and adrenaline’, a gum rubber sole, a dual-branded woven tongue patch logo.

To bring affairs to a close Puma and Santa Cruz deliver a dual-branded graphic t-shirt to accompany the footwear, sold separately.

Puma x Santa Cruz is online now and available in our Leeds store.
