adidas Originals Yung 1
Inspired by a 90s adidas archive runner 20/06/18 sees adidas Originals launches its ‘Yung Series’ with the Yung 1 arriving in two colourways, orange/navy and red/navy/white. This trainer is based on the Falcon Dorf which is a vintage runner from 1997. The Yung 1 is a modern take of this silhouette with an exaggerated and oversized aesthetic.
The timing couldn’t be better as the ‘ugly sneaker’ trend continues to flourish and the Yung 1’s chunky midsole with layered uppers are very in vogue. The Yung 1 is packed full of classic adidas Originals features including Torsion System technology, a lightweight EVA midsole with Trefoil and 3-Stripes branding.
The adidas Originals Yung 1 launches on 21/06/18. Online at 08:00, available at our Leeds store at 09:00.

Statement Shirts
This season’s shirt selection is that good that it’s hard to know where to start. Wacky prints, silky fabrics and relaxed cuts from some of the best names in the business. Whether you go Universal Works or A.P.C. it’s about time you got involved. Here are some of our favourite statement shirts.

Within A.P.C.’s SS18 collection is the Cippi Shirt that is a slim-cut short sleeve shirt with an all-over, half-moon print. It is made from a nimble Italian cotton that is lightweight making it perfectly formed for the summertime.

The Ananas Shirt by mastermind shirt maker Portuguese Flannel involves a seasonal pineapple print that is 100% viscose, 100% ‘Made in Portugal’ and 100% tropical.

Universal Work’s Congo Stripe Road Shirt is straight out of the 50s, made from a textured cotton fabric with a mid-century inspired geometric weave. A boxy, slightly-cropped fit with a Cuban collar and a single chest pocket, it’s top drawer.

American shirt supremo Gitman Vintage take inspiration from two Japanese icons in producing the Fuji Crane Camp Shirt. This shirt has been made in its Pennsylvanian factory from a cotton poplin weave with a geographical pattern that features the Japanese red crane and a snow-covered Mount Fuji.
