Tranquil Tones
No one wants to look like a Crayola Crayon do they? That might sound odd but wearing multiple garments from the same colour palette can often make one feel that way. We wanted to reveal how tonal dressing can look elegant, understated and achievable by following a few simple steps.
The most important rule to live by is to always wear the lightest colour closest to your body and the darkest outside and then basically layer and mix textures of the same shades and always remember to finish with flattering footwear.
Keep these simple steps in mind and you’ll get it right every time; maximising your wardrobe, re-imagining past season items with a striking, distinguished style. Tonal dressing is a great way to add depth to your outfit and you’ll soon appreciate there’s more than one shade of white and there’s alternatives to ‘all black everything’.
With the AW season just around the corner (sorry but it is), now more than ever is the time to start trialling some tonal, layered outfits. Via different hues, soft prints and texture clashes, wearing one colour head-to-toe can not look too matchy-matchy. Why don’t you try it?

White Mountaineering and adidas Originals reunite for AW17
Once more, Japanese menswear label White Mountaineering combine forces with adidas Originals. For the AW17 season we welcome two styles of NMD’s; NMD R2 Primeknit and NMD Trail, both presented in two colourways.
For us, the highlight of this collection lies within the footwear pack that features the same neutral, understated, earth-based colour palette that can found on the apparel. Incorporated on both the Trail and R2 are traces of Yousuke Aizawa’s unmistakable flair with collaborative branding making an appearance on both styles. The NMD R2 features the same striking white stripes along the forefront of the shoe that was so very well received last time out.

The White Mountaineering x adidas Originals NMD R2 Primeknit and NMD Trail are launching online at 00:01 on 15/07/17.
