Event Recap: A Celebration Of The New Balance 475 – Hosted By HIP & Flawd

Recently we hosted an event at Flawd to celebrate the New Balance 475 shoe – the label’s streamlined ‘80s runner rendered in premium leathers for an elegant finish. Flawd served a selection of its seasonal dishes and curation of natural wine, whilst taxicabindustries played a live DJ set.

The New Balance 475 is online now and available at HIP Leeds & Manchester.

A Celebration Of The New Balance 475 – Hosted by HIP & Flawd – 12.09.24

HIP, New Balance and Flawd invite you to celebrate the 475 – a streamlined high-milage daily running shoe from 1986 rendered in premium leathers to evoke an elegant finish.

Flawd is a neighborhood natural wine bar and bottle shop serving seasonal dishes, founded by Joseph Otway, Richard Cossins and Daniel Craig Martin in 2021. Sitting on the marina, Flawd is a much-loved figure in Ancoats’ community – with a welcoming atmosphere, daily evolving menu and regular events with a global network of likeminded partners. Flawd uses seasonal produce from Cinderwood Market Garden, their farm in Nantwich which heavily influences what Seri Nam serves on the menu. Flawd’s wine programme, curated by Meg Williams, is extensive but approachable, working with small natural wine producers from around Europe.

Thursday 12th September – 7-10:30PM

Flawd Manchester, 9 Keepers Quay, Manchester M4 6GL

Open Invite – Free Entry

Complimentary Food & Drink

The New Balance 475 is available now online and in both our Leeds & Manchester stores.
