The 2002R from New Balance is inspired by the brand’s running shoe catalogue from the 2000s for a retro-meets-modern aesthetic, with endless comfort provided by the ABZORB midsole and ABZORB SBS heel cushioning. The ‘Protection Pack’ iteration of the ever-popular 2002R features an open foam tongue and rugged panelling on the upper, layered to create a rough and deconstructed look throughout, whilst retaining the silhouettes instantly recognisable shape.

Nike Dunk High ‘Team Gold’ Women’s
The Nike Dunk was born in 1985, changing the face of Nike Basketball forever: the shoe’s innovation improved athlete performance, whilst it famously featured in a variety of colours as part of the ‘Nike College Colors’ program – allowing fans to support their favourite teams. The shoe was later embraced by skateboarding, streetwear and musical subcultures – celebrated for its clean-cut design and versatility. This Women’s Dunk High features a clean combination of gold and white, evoking a vintage college feeling inspired by the title hopes of an 80s team. It is rounded off with a court-focused rubber outsole and heritage inspired tongue.

Behind The Scenes At The Haeckels HQ, Margate
Recently at HIP, we had the pleasure of being invited down to Margate by Haeckles to test out some of their handcrafted skincare products and fragrances.
A key part of our HIP Living collection, Haeckels was founded in 2012 by British coastal enthusiast Dom Bridges. Disenchanted by the mass production methods used by other larger skincare companies, Haeckles set out to create simple products that showcase the coast’s natural beauty, wealth and healing properties – nurturing healthy skin and promoting sustainable ways of consumption. Haeckels present essential living products, using locally sourced seaweed as a foundation. Harvesting seaweed just steps away from the brand’s Margate HQ, it is used to hydrate and rebuild the skin with its vitamins, minerals and anti-bacterial properties. Not just limiting waste through their own products, Haeckels plays an active role in its local community, regularly organising beach cleans and taking part in marine conservation surveys.
