Born in 2009, in Annecy, France, HOKA One One‘s name draws from a Maori phrase which loosely translates to the meaning “fly over the earth”. Engineered Garments and HOKA One One team up for the fourth time to create a special edition all-gender Bondi L road shoe for AW21. Inspired by the concept of “formal running shoe” – Engineered Garments designer and running enthusiast Daiki Suzuki has fused well-crafted materials and distinct patterns to create an elevated version of the classic Bondi seen as a blank canvas, with uppers consisting of a unique offering of black cow hair, taupe cow hair and a brown croc print. Keeping comfort at the forefront, the Bondi L features an early stage Meta-Rocker for a smooth feel through each step, alongside a leather upper and wide footbed for guaranteed stability.
