Born in 2009, in Annecy, France, HOKA One One‘s name draws from a Maori phrase which loosely translates to the meaning “fly over the earth”. Keeping in line with this free moving ethos, HOKA specializes in producing performance level shoes for road, trail, and all-terrain conditions. Each footwear style is infused with tech such as cutting edge Vibram soles, GORE-TEX membranes and lightweight cushioning, which all merge to create ultra-comfy yet dependable footwear ready to tackle any environment.

Engineered Garments and HOKA One One team up for the fourth time to create a special edition all-gender Bondi L road shoe for AW21. Inspired by the concept of “formal running shoe” – Engineered Garments designer and running enthusiast Daiki Suzuki has fused well-crafted materials and distinct patterns to create an elevated version of the classic Bondi seen as a blank canvas, with uppers consisting of a unique offering of black cow hair, taupe cow hair and a brown croc print. Keeping comfort at the forefront, the Bondi L features an early stage Meta-Rocker for a smooth feel through each step, alongside a leather upper and wide footbed for guaranteed stability.

The HOKA One One x Engineered Garments Bondi L is online now.
