To celebrate the launch of Noah’s collaboration with The Cure – writer, brand consultant and co-host of acclaimed podcast How Long Gone, Chris Black, wrote an exclusive article for HIP. Black has a long-standing relationship with Noah and regularly features actors, musicians, artists, designers, and writers on his podcast, ranging from niche to famous and reflecting a wide taste that covers interesting contours of contemporary culture. One of Black’s early interests was The Cure: he tells HIP the story of seeing them when he was 16, his obsession with the band’s vintage tour merch, and why its imagery and motifs are so enduring.

Noah’s FW23 collaboration with The Cure introduces a collection that channels the cult English rock band’s creative energy and era-defining look. Inspired by classic tour merch and fan customisation, Noah worked with contemporary artist Perla Haney-Jardine to create unique one-of-ones that reinforce the brand’s individualist spirit.
