Flagstuff SS18
As new seasons come and go, brands get introduced and dropped. Tokyo-based Flagstuff is a brand well-known for its red-hot graphics and it can be found on The Hip Store rails for the first time this season. Heavily inspired by music, 90s American skate culture, Japanese anime and the Harajuku streetwear scene this new Japanese brand is finally making it’s way to these shores but distribution is still very limited.
Flagstuff was established in 2014 by Nobuyuki Murayama and is slowly but surely gaining a cult following with a loyal band of followers.
Flagstuff SS18 expresses itself through Japanese and Mexican subcultures with references throughout the collection including the dahlia which is the Mexican national flower, the falcon which is the Mexican national bird as well as Japanese animations.
Flagstuff’s debut collection at The Hip Store features cool graphics and comfortable fabrics across a selection of styles including hoodies, t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and accessories.

New for SS18: Wild Bunch
With a passion for premium fabrics, quality construction and limited runs it’s with great pleasure we introduce Wild Bunch into the fold for the SS18 season. This British footwear brand direct operations from a Bristol HQ with manufacturing taking place in Spain that guarantees excellent construction. This somewhat covert footwear label (its only online presence is a solitary Instagram account) has a tight selection of shoes that all feature chunky crepe soles that are perfect for the summer months.
Top that off with double-stitched vegetable tanned leather uppers and classy details and it’s hard to fault them in any way. We are delighted to have Wild Bunch on-board and recommend checking out the MST 11 Wally silhouette whilst it’s still available.
The opening collection includes its MST 5 Classic, MST 4 Seam, MST 6 Boot and the MST 11 Wally. This young footwear producer creates shoes that are a combination of smart, classic and casual with a variety of seasonal shades and a premium feel from top to bottom.

adidas TERREX x White Mountaineering
Tokyo’s outdoor-infused streetwear brand White Mountaineering and adidas’ innovative technical outdoor line TERREX collaborate for SS18. With all eyes on outdoor performance gear, adidas TERREX and White Mountaineering present an exclusive trail runner, the WM TERREX TWO BOA, dropping in two colourways. This is an introductory teaser of what’s to come in AW18; a further capsule collection of apparel and footwear.
The adidas TERREX line is designed for outdoor silent sports such as climbing, trail running, mountain biking or hiking. This collaboration combines adidas’ TERREX innovation-led technology and White Mountaineering’s materials.
The TERREX TWO BOA is a trail runner that is designed for long-distance and competition-orientated events and provides cushioning, stability and breathability. Features include an innovative Boa closure system, a Continental rubber outsole and a lug sole inspired by the Continental MTB ‘Baron Projekt’ tyre. For this special project, additional features include 3-D printed 3-Stripes, a colour contrast TPU sheet and a midsole wrapped in White Mountaineering branding.

Engineered Garments SS18
One of the most highly anticipated delivery of the season has arrived. We are blessed with an action-packed brand list and things are looking better than ever but when Engineered Garments shows up it’s a great moment.
The Nepenthes label arrives true-to-form with core lines including the Atlantic parka, Cagoule jacket and its Carry All Tote.
Throw in some red-hot short sleeve shirts featuring abstract prints, all-over florals and soften cotton chambrays into the mix and you’ve got a mighty-looking summer selection.
The SS18 delivery is complete with a flamboyant pair of African-themed cut-and-sew shorts that you don’t want to miss.
It’s the usual story, numbers are limited and the American-made quality is unreal.
The Flamingo Print Camp Shirt has to be one of the best shirts of the season.
