Event Recap: An Evening With Adish At HIP Leeds

Last week saw HIP host An Evening With Adish At HIP Leeds – to celebrate Adish SS23 Collection ‘Common Goals’ with a live discussion with Amit Luzon and Eyal Eliyahu from Adish. The discussion and Adish SS23 collection showcase was complimented with food by Patels Pies and drinks by Amity Brew Co.

Adish is an Israeli-Palestinian brand launched in 2018 that uses clothing as a medium to spread awareness about sociopolitical issues and celebrate local cultures. ADISH empowers Palestinian craftswomen, working with them to create beautiful hand-stitched tatreez (Arabic for embroidery) used across contemporary garments. Each Adish piece is filled with sentiment, sewn with the location where it was embroidered and the name of the women’s embroidery group that produced the tatreez.
