This Winter, workwear favorites at HIP Carhartt WIP have paid homage and collaborated with a wide circle of iconic independent record labels globally for RELEVANT PARTIES Vol. 1 – A Capsule Compilation.

Joining forces with the likes of Tokyo-based Jazzy Sport, UK based Ninja Tune, Los Angeles tastemakers Stones Throw, Munich’s Public Possession, and two NYC authorities, DFA Records and Ghostly International, Carhartt WIP has created a series of limited edition T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and gadgets, that pay tribute to some of the most relevant independent record labels across the globe right now. Each design has been created closely in collaboration with each record label and has been applied across a range of everyday jersey-based garments. In addition, the special release will also include a cassette tape dedicated to the work of each label and their craft.
 
Debuting earlier this year as a podcast series, RELEVANT PARTIES is part passion-led, part deep-dive, exploring the diverse worlds of some of Carhartt WIP’s favorite labels. Hosted by UK music journalist Chal Ravens, each episode speaks to the people behind the music, known for their craft and singular vision, which has helped shape their respective imprints.

To mark the launch of RELEVANT PARTIES Vol. 1 capsule collection, NTS Radio will also feature 12 hours of continuous programming on November 12, with a two-hour show curated by each label and hosted by the likes of DFA’s James Murphy, Little Dragon from Ninja Tune, and Sudan Archives of Stones Throw.  Visit the NTS website for more.
