First released in 1981 as part of the iconic adidas City Series, the Torino is a terrace classic that quickly became a regular feature on the feet of travelling fans across Europe. Paying homage to the Italian city of Turin, this near 1 to 1 reissue of the original features a supple bold blue suede upper and gum rubber outsole, with classic adidas details throughout such as the silver 3-stripes overlay and branded graphic on the tongue. In true City Series fashion, this true collector’s pair is finished off with gold foil ‘Torino’ branding and low-key “City Series MMXX1” embossed text on the lining.
